- For Reserved Category: To avail government scholarships/freeship students of reserved category (SC/ST/NT/OBC) will have to go through CAP conducted by Department of Technical Education [DTE]. Scholarship/Freeship will not be granted if admission is sought under Institute level seats or vacancies under Minority quota.
- For Religious Minorities: Minority Scholarships are available for eligible candidates under State and Central Government schemes.
- For Economically Backward Class: To avail this scholarship students are required to seek admission through CAP rounds conducted by DTE.
